This coming May 29 Winnipeg Whisky Club and Hardwired Electic hardwiredelectric.com are joining forces to present Copper Night 2019, with logistical help from club member Robert Naumko.
We will enjoy some light fare and warmup drinks, followed by Springbank 10 and a trio of CASK STRENGTH Scotch Single Malt Whiskies like no other:
Hazelburn 14 Oloroso Cask Matured 49.3% vol.
Springbank 14 Bourbon Wood, 55.8% vol.
Longrow 11 Pinot Noir Cask Matured 53.1% vol.
We will compare these three whiskies, all somewhat similar, the house style, and yet all very different in malt choice, distillation, and casking. After each person has chosen their favourite and given each whisky a score, we will declare the club favourite along with the club scores for Hazelburn 14, Springbank 14, and Longrow 11.
Suffice to say, this will be one helluva whisky night in Winnipeg!
